Every stone we string has a story older than any of us — geological, imperial, devotional. This guide tells those stories one stone at a time: what the mineral actually is, what Chinese tradition says it means, which element it belongs to, and how to care for it. Facts are stated as facts, traditions as traditions — never confused.
